PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture-reacting hot-melt adhesive composition capable of being suitably used in adhering substrates, such as structural members. SOLUTION: This moisture-reacting hot-melt adhesive composition contains a polyether polyol, a polyester polyol, a styrene-allyl alcohol copolymer, and a polyisocyanate, wherein the composition has a ratio of NCO groups to OH groups (NCO/OH) of 1.8/1 to 3.0/1 in an equivalent base, the composition contains water in an amount of less than 1%, a weight ratio of the polyether polyol to the polyester polyol in the composition is at least 0.42, and free NCO groups in an amount of at 5.5 wt.% are contained in the composition. A method for forming a moisture-reacting hot-melt adhesive and a method for joining the substrates by using the adhesive are provided in the specification, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
