PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous production method for a vinyl ester-ethylene copolymer dispersion which provides, without the use of a seed latex, a product free of fluctuated product characteristics and having a monomodal particle size distribution and which provides particulates having a weight average diame ter Dw of 800-1,400 nm. SOLUTION: There is provided the method for manufacturing the polymer stabilized with the protective colloid through continuous emulsion polymerization, which is characterized in that a polyvinyl alcohol component is metered and fed into a first pressure reactor so that its proportion always makes≤6 mass% to the monomers continuously supplied to the first pressure reactor; a 10-60 mass% of a vinyl ester component is metered and fed into a second pressure reactor; the mass ratio of the oxidizing component in a redox initiator combination to the monomers is maintained as to be 0.03-0.07; and the residence time in the first pressure reactor does not exceed 2.5 h.
