PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load of a master controller 18 and construct a plurality of types of conveyors with using a same control part 2. SOLUTION: A control unit 4 and a motor drive circuit 6 are provided on the control part 2 of each conveyor unit C1-C4. The control unit 4 is provided with an input and output function having capability of communication via a network 14, storing control logic of the conveyor unit and processing input from photoelectric sensors 10, 12, and a drive function of a motor 8. The control parts 2 are connected in cascade via the network 14 and a plurality of the conveyor units C1-C4 are cooperatively operated to construct a roller way, an accumulation conveyor unit, and a station to a conveyor apparatus or the like. Contents of control logic is changed according to a type of an apparatus materialized by the conveyor units C1-C4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
