The communication network includes access point units (2,2') each having a transceiver (22) for communicating with a wireless communication terminal (1,1') through an air interface (21). Each access point unit has a communication module (11) for transmitting prepaid value code and operator identification to an access control server (3). The access control service, which is connected to the access point units, has an access control module (31) for checking access authorization of the wireless communication terminal, a value code database (32), a validation module (311) for validating the received value code in the value code database, a clearance module (312) for clearance of access to access controlled communication network modules for the wireless communication terminal, and a cancellation module (313) for canceling received and validated value code in the value code database. A request module (12) in the wireless communication terminal transmits the prepaid value code to the access point unit through air interface. Independent claims are included for the following: (a) the access control method for wireless local communication network; (b) the access control server; and (c) the computer program product storing program codes for access control in wireless local communication network.
