<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture high-purity carbon dioxide usable for a carbonated drink, and to improve the stability of the carbonated drink, when the carbonated drink is stored in a storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: A heating section is arranged in the lower part of a purifying section. The bottom end part of the purifying section is connected to the top end part of the heating section by a first connection pipe. A second connection pipe is arranged so that the second connection pipe penetrates the lower side surface of the purifying section from the side surface of the heating section and extends to the inside of the lower part of the purifying section. Holes facing downward are formed on the second connection pipe inside the lower part of the purifying section. A plurality of partition walls parallel to the side wall of the purifying section are arranged inside the central part of the purifying section to form a plurality of passage parts. A gas cooling section for connecting the upper part of the purifying section to the lower part is constituted by a part of the passage parts. A cooling medium passage section through which a cooling medium is made to pass is constituted by the other part of the passage parts. The gaseous carbon dioxide to be purified is introduced into the heating section and liquid carbon dioxide is made to pass through the cooling medium passage section as the cooling medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
