<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joined product of different kinds of materials which effectively inhibits the increase in hardness of Au and enables its use at high temperature ranges, by establishing a barrier layer for inhibiting the dispersion of Ni into a precoat layer made of Au brazing filler metal and performing solid-phase joining between a ceramic base and a metallic member, and its manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: In the joined product of different kinds of materials, the ceramic base 1 and the metallic member 7 are solid-phase joined via a brazing filler metal 5. An active metal 4 is placed on the surface of the ceramic base 1, and the Au-based brazing filler metal 5 is placed on the active metal 4. The active metal 4 and the brazing filler metal 5 are heated to form a precoat layer 6. The metallic member 7 is placed on the surface of the precoat layer 6 via a barrier layer 8, and the precoat layer 6 and the metallic member 7 are pressurized and heated to allow their solid-phase joining. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
