PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very rapidly processable silver halide photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity, low fog and excellent long-term preservability. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material having hydrophilic colloidal layers including at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, the hydrophilic colloidal layers contain at least one of the sensitizing dyes of formula (1) and at least one of the compounds of formula (2). Silver halide grains contained in the hydrophilic colloidal layers are preferably grains subjected to reduction sensitization, selenium sensitization or tellurium sensitization.
