PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun-screening cosmetic capable of effectively screening ultraviolet rays, especially including long-wavelength ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: The cosmetic containing bis(resorcinyl)triazine as the ultraviolet ray screening agent and powder particles of zinc oxide (preferably, the shape of the particles is flaky, sheet or flower petal and having≤0.1μm of the average particle diameter and the particles are coated with silicon dioxide), exhibits the excellent ultraviolet ray-screening effect also to the ultraviolet ray with long-wavelength, and excellent in transparency of the finish, feeling of use and helps make-up last longer.
