<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal decomposition apparatus, itself having a structure hardly to scatter residue and stably discharging the residue. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal decomposition apparatus is equipped with an external heating jacket for heating a molten plastic and an inner vessel which retains a thrown molten plastic while slowly rotating, is heated by the external heating jacket and separates the molten plastic into oil gas and the residue. Baffles being slant as a whole are arranged at fixed angle intervals ahead a residue discharge slit of the inner vessel. The residue accumulated at the outlet side of the inner vessel is discharged only when the inner vessel is normally rotated. A residue transporting and discharging mechanism for sending the residue discharged from the inner vessel to a residue discharging part is installed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
