PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display capable of efficiently utilizing each light source even if a plurality of light sources are used, and also facilitating mounting work of the light sources. SOLUTION: In an edge light type liquid crystal display, three light sources 11 are arranged in batch along the side face of a light transmission plate 8. Then, the light sources 11 are arranged so as to be at equal intervals. Moreover, lamp holders 13, 14 are arranged at both ends of the light sources 11, to hold the plurality of light sources 11 all together. A holder 19 for holding GND side terminals 17 projecting from the end parts of the plurality of light sources 11 at a predetermined position is housed in the lamp holder 13, and the GND side terminals 17 of each light source 11 held by the holder 19 are electrically connected in common.
