PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional fatigue testing apparatus capable of compositely operating a load of a state nearer to a real environment to a test piece such as a building material or the like. SOLUTION: The multifunctional fatigue testing apparatus 1 comprises a test piece holder 3 capable of holding the test piece T in any of a vertical direction and a horizontal direction, and a force applying unit 4 capable of selectively or simultaneously operating a mechanical load of the vertical direction or the horizontal direction to the held test piece T, assembled in a thermostat 2 capable of arbitrarily controlling internal temperature and humidity.
