PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal assembly for a compressor, which can be used in a reciprocating compressor and a linear compressor, and in which an attachment state of a connector is firm. SOLUTION: In a terminal assembly 60, a cover 80 is attached to shield the inside of a terminal frame 61. The connector 70 is attached to a terminal 50 disposed inside the terminal assembly 60. A restriction bosses 82, 83 for preventing the connector 70 from coming out of the terminal 50 are disposed to the cover 80. The restriction bosses 82, 83 are disposed in a vertical direction of the terminal assembly 60 at an interval corresponding to the length of the connector 70 to prevent the connector 70 from coming out of the terminal when attachment direction of the connector 70 is changed depending on arrangement of the terminal 50 for mounting the connector 70. Therefore, the terminal assembly 60 can be used in the reciprocating compressor and linear compressor, and the attachment state of the connector 70 to the terminal 50 can be kept more firm.
