PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of reduction of performance of an adsorbent which occurs when the adsorbent is fixed by applying adhesive to a nonwoven fabric arranged at a part of an intake passage for preventing the emission of fuel vapor from an intake system of an internal combustion engine into the atmosphere, which is the most common way conventionally. SOLUTION: In this evaporated fuel adsorbing device provided in at least a part of the intake system, both back and front sides of a granular adsorbent 100 like active carbon are clamped with two sheets of nonwoven fabric 101 having permeability, and outsides thereof are clamped with two honeycomb-like plates 102 to surely fix and support the adsorbent 100 in the case 103. The nonwoven fabric 101 or the like can also serve as an air cleaner element as a filter medium, and in some embodiments, the nonwoven fabric may be pleated and the adsorbent can be held in the space of the pleat.
