PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a limited space of a maintenance factory and to further improve maintenance efficiency. SOLUTION: A bridge 22 is built in pits 4 and 4' independently movably from a transport carrier 9 with a lift. Coupling tracks 23 and 23' to connect together tracks 2 and 2' separated away from each other by pits 2 and 2'. With a lift 10 of the transport carrier 9 with a lift lowered, the tracks 2 and 2' separated from each other by the pits 4 and 4' are coupled together by the coupling tracks 23 and 23' installed on the bridge 22 and running of the rolling stock is practicable. Even with the lift 10 of the transport carrier 9 with a lift lowered, continuity of the track 2 or the track 2' is ensured, and movement of a stock is practicable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
