PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck for maintenance capable of being effectively used for a work to remove an electric car for carriage, runnably hanging down from a guide rail, from the guide rail and inspection and repair, such as replacement of a wheel for the electric car for carriage removed from the guide rail. SOLUTION: A connection rail 28 connectable to an end part 2a of a guide rail 2 from which an electric car for carriage runnably hangs down is erected on a truck 21 movable on a floor and a truck for maintenance is capable of transferring the electric car for conveyance between the truck 21 and the guide rail 2. The connection rail 28 is provided with an electric car fixing means 32 to fix the electric car 1 for carriage in an orientation at the connection rail 28 in a state that wheels 13 and 14 of an electric car 1 are not brought into pressure contact with the connection rail 28, and openings 30 and 31 for removably mounting the wheels 13 and 14 for the electric car 1 for carriage fixed at the connection rail 28 by an electric car fixing means 32.
