<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing a photoreceptor, a conveyor belt and a blade from being damaged in a stage where a belt holding member is drawn out and capable of more easily removing paper jammed in the vicinity of an image forming part. <P>SOLUTION: Three cams 36, for example, are formed on the belt holding member 29, and a driven roller 39 rolling along the respective cams 36 is provided on a main body side plate 35. The conveyor belt and a photoreceptor are separated to such an extent that the blade is not broken by downward displacement at a first stage corresponding to a 1st inclined surface 381. In a stage where the roller 39 is made to roll along a 2nd level difference surface 372 to draw out the member 29, the blade and the conveyor belt are separated. By separating the conveyor belt from the photoreceptor further by the downward displacement at a 2nd stage corresponding to a 2nd inclined surface 382, space enough to remove the paper jammed in the vicinity of the image forming part is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
