<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of visually acting on the mentality of a user to form a healing, relaxing and comforting space. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a light source arranged in an indoor machine to emit a light with different color and intensity depending on the differences of operation mode and operating intensity, and a screen arranged on the inside of an exposed panel face having two or more holes, which glows in the color of the light source when receiving the light of the light source, and can be visually confirmed through the exposed panel face. By moving the light source or the screen, 1/f flicker is given to the light of the screen visually confirmed through the exposed panel face on the basis of the emission intensity of the light source. Instead of the screen, the exposed panel face is formed of a material which glows in the color of the light source when receiving the light of the light source, whereby the same effect is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
