<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment ink for inkjet recording, which gives a recorded image excellent in gloss and transparency and improved in scratch resistance, an inkjet cartridge made by using the same, a method for recording an image by inkjet recording, and an inkjet recorded image. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment ink for inkjet recording is characterized in that it contains pigment particles, a hydrophilic solvent, water and a latex, wherein the pigment particles have each a polar group on the surface, and the absolute value of the difference between the solid surface tension of the pigment particles and the solid surface tension of the latex is 10 mN/m or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
