<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space optical transmission device of an elevator capable of easily aligning an optical axis regardless of the distance from a light emitting apparatus to a light receiving apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmission device comprises the light emitting apparatus that is disposed in a car and radiates an optical signal and the light receiving apparatus 31 that is disposed in the upper part of a hoistway, is faced to the light emitting apparatus, and receives the optical signal. A light receiving surface 31a of the light receiving apparatus 31 is provided with a light emitting indicator 31b for announcing the fact that a light receiving level of the light receiving apparatus 31 is a defined value or higher. Optical axis adjustment is performed at the highest floor position, and then the car 3 is moved toward the lowest floor position. During the movement, when the optical axis is displaced, the light receiving level becomes the defined value or lower, and the light emitting indicator 31b lights off, a worker having recognized the optical axis displacement based on the lighting off adjusts the optical axis at that position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
