<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge apparatus of which the structure can be simplified to effectively reduce the number of the components of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: According to the liquid discharge apparatus, a nozzle head 3 is arranged to be able to move vertically with a piston 5 against a cap 2 fitted on the mouth of a container 1, and a liquid in the container is discharged from a nozzle head. A hole 2a for inserting the piston is formed on the cap 2, and a virgin seal 11 is integrally formed with the cap 2 around the hole 2a and can be separated via a thin part 11A. The virgin seal 11 is provided with a vertical slit 12 and a gripping part 13 having a antislipping is formed at the starting point of the slit.
