PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for a liquid developer having low aggregation force, excellent dispersion stability and storage stability, and high reliability and capable of forming an image of high picture quality. SOLUTION: The toner for a liquid developer is used for a liquid developer and contains an epoxy compound having≤1,000 epoxy equivalent. The epoxy compound is preferably at least one kind selected from a bisphenol A epoxy resin, novolac epoxy resin, bisphenol F epoxy resin, biphenyl epoxy resin, isocyanate modified epoxy resin, naphthalene epoxy resin, dicyclo epoxy resin and brominated epoxy resin.
