PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating device using microcomputer which comprises a no-load baking detecting means convenient for a user. SOLUTION: In the high frequency heating device comprising a heating chamber 2, a placing table 3, a rotating mechanism 4, a high frequency generator 5, a waveguide 6, a feed opening part 7, a temperature detector 8, a control mean for controlling the temperature detector, the elapsed time from cooking start and the temperature change value of food calculated on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature detector 8 are compared with a time judgment value and a temperature judgment value, and when the calculated temperature does not reach the temperature judgment value after the lapse of the time judgment value or more from the cooking start, no-load baking is judged to perform a no-load detection. Thus, the device having such a structure as the no-load baking detecting means convenient for the user who can set the time judgment value or temperature judgment value according to the difference in cooking time or temperature change of food is provided.
