PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing usable over a long period by preventing abrasion by the fine edge even in a lubrication insufficient state by adopting a work method of forming no fine edge. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing is formed by applying surface work so that a depth/opening part length of a recessed part existing on at least one member surface of a rolling body and a bearing ring becomes 0.25 or less.
