摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin which has excellent electrical properties and toughness of PPE and has improved compatibility with other resins and fabricability, and to render it in a form capable of being broadly utilized in a variety of applications including the field of electronics. SOLUTION: By converting both terminal groups of a difunctional PPE oligomer having a bisphenol structure having substituents at least at 2,6-positions as the nucleus into thermosetting functional groups, a highly active thermosetting resin which inherits excellent electrical properties and toughness of PPE could have been made.
