PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing device enabling a safe escape from a car washing space if a car washing machine stops because of some troubles. SOLUTION: The car washing device comprises a control board 17 for detecting that an abnormality is generated in a car washing process, and a gate open/close switch 32 for opening a gate device 15. When the abnormality is detected in the car washing process by the control board 17, the gate device 15 is opened upon receiving a gate opening signal from the gate open/close switch 32.
