<p>The switch includes a connector incorporating the processing circuit, enabling the production of several output signals. The seat belt fitting includes a female fastening (1) attached to a fixed point on the vehicle, and a male element (3,4) attached to the belt for insertion in the fixed fastening. The female fastening includes a switch operated by the insertion of the male element, the switch being included in a circuit to control a light or sound signal. A connector (10) is inserted in the supply circuit to link the female fastening switch to the associated circuitry. The connector includes an electronic processing circuit, processing the information relating to the closure of the detector switch and providing outputs which can be sent to various different items of equipment in the vehicle.</p> |
