484,247. Projection screens. OPTICOLOR AKT.-GES. March 5, 1937, No. 6642. Convention date, June 17, 1936. [Class 97 (i)] In a screen having a metallic reflecting surface provided with regularly arranged lenticulations the width of each lenticulation is approximately one-fifth of that of a lenticulation which, when uniformly illuminated by a projector, would be just imperceptible by a person with normal vision from a seat at a distance from the screen approximately equal to twice its width. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, it is stated that each lenticulation may subtend an angle of three minutes from the said seat, and that the lenticulations are preferably cylindrical and extend in different directions, for example vertically and horizontally, the dispersion of the horizontal elements being smaller than the dispersion of the vertical elements. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
|
