<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust sliding bearing capable of forming a slide surface with low friction torque by hardly changing the friction torque even if thrust load is increased, of keeping a low friction coefficient even in a long-term use, and of securing a smooth steering operation equivalent to a rolling bearing even if it is built in a strut type suspension without generating friction sound on the slide surface. <P>SOLUTION: This thrust sliding bearing 1 is provided with: an upper case 10 made of a polyacetal resin and having a flat annular surface 2; and a lower case 20 made of a polyacetal resin, having an annular surface 3, superimposed on the upper case 10 so as to be rotatable in a direction R around an axis O of the upper case 10 and facing to the annular surface 2 of the upper case 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
