THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material with a little yellowing of a white ground caused by exposure to light and also with a high image survival rate of an image part in the thermal recording material that contains an electron donor coloring precursor.

SOLUTION: The thermal recording material has at least one thermal recording layer containing the electron donor coloring precursor and an electron accepting developer on a support. The thermal recording material contains a microcapsule and the microcapsule contains a fluorescent brightening agent. It is preferable that the microcapsule also contains the electron donor coloring precursor.
