PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device excellent in moisture resistance.

SOLUTION: On the inside of a sealing material 30 and the outside of a pixels region of a liquid crystal cell 50, a frame patterned fixed type spacer 40 with a pattern similar to the sealing material is formed. An inorganic material film 60 to block moisture infiltration is formed on at least an outside wall part of the frame pattern of the spacer. An electrode is made to have a reflection function by using a reflective electrode film and further the reflection function is strengthened by using a dielectric film 62 for the inorganic material.
