SHEATHING CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR SHIELD EXCAVATION OF SHEET PILE SHAFT AND STEEL SHEET PILE FOR SHIELD EXCAVATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheathing construction method for shield excavation of a sheet pile shaft capable of preventing collapse of the ground and an outflow of water without improving soil of a shield construction portion. SOLUTION: In the steel sheet pile 2 for shield excavation, two steel sheet piles 2a and 2b are joined at a joint 21 so they become one steel sheet pile. Steel sheet pile 1 are driven so as to surround a shaft portion, and the steel sheet pile 2 is driven into a portion where SEW construction is to be carried out. A portion driven with the steel sheet piles 1 and 2 are excavated. A wall 4 is aligned with a front face of the shield construction portion of the steel sheet pile 2 and fixed to it. Mouth concrete 6 is placed on the wall 4. A filler 8 is filled in a gap between the wall 4 and the steel sheet pile 2. A shield machine 11 is installed at the mouth 6a. The steel sheet pile 2a separated from the joint 21 of the steel sheet pile 2 is drawn a predetermined length from the ground 10, the drawn portion of the steel sheet pile 2a is cut and removed, and the shield machine 11 is started.
