PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial mat for bath room retaining water absorption, flexibility, decorativeness, durability and the like and antimicrobial effect for a long time by effectively using a little amount of antimicrobially processed yarns. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial mat for bath room is made by weaving pile-forming yarns (2) on the surface or both surface and back of a base fabric part (30) which is a woven fabric, forming piles and fixing them. The mat comprises cotton yarns (1a) comprising cotton fiber, the pile-forming yarns (2) and a predetermined weight % antimicrobially processed yarns (1) based on those yarns. The antimicrobially processed yarn (1) is made by plating 10-20 wt.% pure silver (12) onto a synthetic fiber. The mat is woven by using the cotton yarns (1a) and the antimicrobially processed yarns (1) as weft yarns (10) and the pile-forming yarns (2) and the cotton yarns (1a) as warp yarns to uniformly distribute the antimicrobially processed yarns (1) to be vaguely visible in 20-30% of the total area of the surface and the back of the base fabric part (30).
