PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material composition for a wood building material keeping excellent stain resistance to an oil, or the like, over a long period, having suppressed surface slipperiness and exhibiting excellent safety, and provide a surface-coated wood material having a cured coating film of the coating material composition. SOLUTION: The coating material composition for the wood material contains (A) a silicon-modified compound curable with actinic energy rays and (B) fine particulate substance.
