PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyimide resin composition that is excellent in heat- resistance and adhesion to a metal such as copper or stainless steel, and good in electrical characteristics and mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The polyimide resin composition comprises an aromatic polyimide A and a polyimide B having phenylethynyl group at the end in a weight ratio of the former to the latter (A/B) of 95/5-80/20. Polyimide B is shown by formula (2) (wherein Ar<SP>2</SP>shows a bivalent organic group a main component of which is a bivalent aromatic group having at least one aromatic ring, Y shows a phenylethynyl phthalic acid imide-containing group same as a left terminal or hydrogen, an amino-terminus, an acid-terminus, or a terminal group obtained by modifying these terminals, and (m) is an integer of 1-10).
