Disclosed is a device for producing a glass wool sheet material, comprising a length-reducing cutting device (4) and a coiling device (6) following a hardening furnace (1) in the direction of movement of the sheet (7). As an option, the coiled roll can also be packaged in the coiling device (6). In order to obtain high production speeds with a predefined thickness of the sheet (7) even when thin materials are produced, the sheet (7) is separated into two or several layers (7a, 7b) by a cutting device (3) running through said sheet (7). Said layers (7a, 7b) are coiled jointly, optionally after being compressed in a compressing device (5). |
