<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus for common salt relatively rich in minerals such as calcium, from seawater, and manufacturing boiler water and drink water. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus for the salt from seawater comprise manufacturing the salt containing moisture by separating water from the seawater by a high-pressure reverse osmosis process to thicken the seawater, adding the thickened seawater to bittern containing sodium chloride having a calcium concentration of ≤1 wt.% and magnesium concentration of ≥2 wt.%, evaporating and thickening the mixture to deposit and separate the calcium and sodium chloride in the seawater and centrifugally dewatering the solution containing the deposited crystals and comprise manufacturing the boiler water for thermal thickening by subjecting the water separated by the high-pressure reverse osmosis process to desalting by a low-pressure reverse osmosis process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
