<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistive inter-layer material and blocking structure for an inter-layer clearance using the fire resistive inter-layer material that can positively hinder fire, smoke, gas, and the like caused by a fire, from reaching an upper floor when the fire breaks out on a lower floor. <P>SOLUTION: A fire resistive core material 10 of this fire resistive inter-layer material A for blocking an inter-layer clearance G1 between the inner surface of a vertical wall 1 and the end face of flooring 2 is formed of a nonflammable fiber aggregate into bar shape with compressive elasticity.
