PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic recording medium which records mutually different images, a three-dimensional image recorder which records images for stereoscopic vision on the electronic recording medium and a method for displaying three-dimensional images which records the mutually different images on the electronic recording medium and displays the images in stereoscopic vision. SOLUTION: The electronic recording medium comprises a laminate of a plurality of liquid crystal layers consisting of cholesteric liquid crystal molecules, in which the images are recorded by irradiation with light carrying a picture and application of a voltage between a pair of electrodes, disposed between a pair thereof and which has at least one layer each of two kinds of the liquid crystal layers with respective twist directions of the cholesteric liquid crystal molecules opposite to each other.
