PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary therapeutic tool capable of relieving discomfort of an patient, by calming itchiness caused by inflammation, such as atopic dermatitis, and therefore capable of enhancing a therapeutic effect on the inflammation. SOLUTION: This auxiliary therapeutic tool is given by knitting yarn to have a double-layer structure of inner and outer surfaces, wherein the inner surface is contacted with the skin and contains the yarn on which a metal phthalocyanine derivative is supported, and the outer surface is formed out of the other yarn on which no metal phthalocyanine derivative is supported. An iron phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid, an iron phthalocyanine polysulfonic acid, a cobalt phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid, a cobalt phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid, and a water-soluble salt thereof are preferably exemplified as the metal phthalocyanine derivative. When the metal phthalocyanine derivative is made to be supported on the yarn, one or more kinds of raw materials selected from cotton, rayon, flax, wool, silk, and polyamide are treated with a cationization agent, and then the metal phthalocyanine derivative is made to act on the treated yarn, so that the derivative is supported on the yarn.
