PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous adhesive composition, excellent in water resistance and whitening resistance and adhesion, and having high solid content. SOLUTION: The aqueous adhesive composition comprises a polymer [A] having carboxy group and a polymer [B] having a crosslinking reactive group, has an acid value of 5-50 and is obtained by dispersing a polymer particle [X] having 300-2,000 nm average particle diameter into an aqueous medium, wherein the composition is characterized in that a film formed from the composition has≤-25°C glass transition temperature and 25-80 wt.% gel fraction.
