PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metallic pigment which can be suitably used in a powdery coating material composition and gives a metallic feel and a high brightness feel. SOLUTION: The metallic pigment forms a coating film of a monolayer or a multilayer in which surfaces of aluminum particles are coated with the aluminum particles as substrate particles, wherein at least one of the monolayer or multilayers comprises a resin composition containing a fluororesin having a fluorinated alkyl group in the molecule.
