<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor, phospholipase A2 inhibitor, platelet coagulation inhibitor, hexosaminidase liberation inhibitor, and hyaluronidase inhibitor, each extracted from lethariellacladonioides, a kind of lichens belonging to Usneaceae, and to provide a hair or skin cosmetic and food/drink each formulated therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The hair or skin cosmetic and food/drink contain the active ingredients of the above-mentioned inhibitors each obtained by extraction of lethariellacladonioides, a kind of lichens belonging to Usneaceae with water or a hydrophilic organic solvent or a mixture thereof, therefore have a combination of the respective activities of these inhibitors and are useful for inhibiting sebum secretion and preventing skin inflammation and allergy caused by various factors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
