<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the occurrence of an abnormal image and a side effect due to the excessive execution of a removing mode by appropriately removing filming in accordance with a transfer paper. <P>SOLUTION: A paper powder removing device 2 constituted of a Mylar (R) 3 for scraping paper powder sticking to a resist roller 1, a case 4 for collecting the paper powder, three transmission type photosensors 5a, 5b and 5c positioned under the Mylar(R) 3 is arranged near the resist roller 1. When the scraped paper powder slides down on the Mylar(R) 3 and the powder is accumulated on the base of the case 4, the output of the photosensor 5a is reduced first of all, and with the increase of the accumulation, the outputs of the photosensors 5b and 5c are successively reduced. The execution interval of the filming removing mode is changed in accordance with the number of sheets from the reduction of the output of the photosensor 5a or 5b to the reduction of the output of the photosensor 5b or 5c, and then, the execution of the filming removing mode is prevented from becoming too much or too little in the case the transfer paper in using is changed halfway. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
