<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for shutting down a continuous quick baking furnace in which products to be baked remaining inside the quick baking furnace can be baked without causing baking defects such as cracks, etc., when the quick baking furnace is shut down. <P>SOLUTION: In the process for shutting down a continuous quick baking furnace comprising a preheating zone which is the entrance zone for products to be baked, a baking zone wherein a plurality of combustion burners are arranged on both sides in the direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the products to be baked, a quick quenching zone possessing a cooling air- supplying means and a cooling zone wherein the products to be baked are slowly cooled to around room temperature, while the product to be baked travels through the baking zone, the burner for baking which does not affect the baking temperature of the last product to be baked from among burners positioned at the back side, is shut down after the last product to be baked is shifted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
