PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a phenol resin molding material which has improved mechanical properties by providing impact resistance without impairing excellent electric properties and heat resistance of a conventional phenol resin. SOLUTION: This phenol resin molding material comprises a phenol resin, a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and a filler as essential components, preferably 40-60 wt.% of the phenol resin based on the total of the molding material and 5-25 parts wt. of the thermoplastic polyurethane resin based on 100 parts wt. of the phenol resin. Preferably the thermoplastic polyurethane resin has 10-150μm average particle diameter and is in a spherical form. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
