PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax a torque shock during acceleration and deceleration operation, to improve trafficability, and to relieve a feeling of physical disorder exerted on a drive. SOLUTION: When throttle opening limit conditions (S22-S28) to limit the opening of a throttle valve provided in an electronic throttle control device are all satisfied to relax a torque shock during acceleration deceleration operation, during acceleration operation, a limit value GDA is added to a last target accelerator opening TANGLE<SB>n-1</SB>during acceleration operation to set a present accelerator opening TANGLE<SB>n</SB>(S30), and a limit value GDD is reduced from the last target accelerator opening TANGLE<SB>n-1</SB>to set the present accelerator opening TANGLE<SB>n</SB>(S32), and a throttle opening is limited. Futher, in that case, in case at least one of throttle opening limit conditions (S22-S28) is not satisfied, it is decided that a throttle opening limit release condition is established, transfer to normal control to set a throttle opening according to an accelerator opening is carried out.
