PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer paper comprising at least two layers having mutually different orientation angles of pulp fibers, having anisotropy in expansion and contraction caused by moistened or dried condition smaller than that of a conventional paper, and having excellent paper strength such as folding strength and tear strength even in a low basis weight. SOLUTION: This multilayer paper made on a paper machine comprises at least two or more layers having mutually different orientation angles of pulp fibers.
