The hinge (4) has two halves connected through a joint (16). One hinge half (14) has a grip area which interacts with a corresponding grip area on the second hinge half when the two hinge halves are brought together and pivoted into a grip position. The joint has an elongated part whose parallel long sides are connected for articulated movement to each one of the two hinge halves. - The hinge is extruded from plastics. Independent claim describes use of hinge to connect two plate-like parts together which are covered on one side with a flexible material layer (12). |
