<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battle technique-setting method wherein a player can set a battle technique as he likes. <P>SOLUTION: On the screen of a television monitor, a mastered technique region for which mastered techniques are collected, and a battle technique slot related to the sizes of the levels of objective characters are three- dimensionally displayed (S116). When a mastered technique in the mastered technique region is selected (S120), the moving of the selected mastered technique from the mastered technique region to the battle technique slot is allowed (S122). When the moving of the mastered technique to the battle techniques slot is completed (S124), it is discriminated whether or not all of the mastered techniques which have been moved are housed in the battle technique slot (S126).
