摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a sliding part and the productivity by making it possible to perform a mechanical finishing substituting for manual scraping of a guide object surface of the sliding part of a machine tool. SOLUTION: The guide object surface moving along a guide surface is a mechanical machining surface provided with: shallow plate-shaped recess parts 5 having an arc circumferential edge disposed in a triangular arrangement in its sliding direction; and shallow grooves 6 connecting the adjoining shallow plate-shaped recess parts 5 to each other. The preferable guide object surface is formed of a composite resin surface, especially a fluoroplastic surface including a gun metal. The guide object surface is so formed that an abutment surface 7 is ground or shelled after machining the shallow plate-shaped recess parts 5 and the shallow grooves 6, and the mean depth of the shallow plate-shaped recess parts 5 and the shallow grooves 6 is formed into from 10 to 100μ. Preferably, the planar shape of the shallow plate-shaped recess part 5 is formed into a circle or a long circle for machining the recess part 5 and forming an oil film of the abutment surface 7.
